Bill & Sally-lyn Duff's 50th Anniversary Party - July 1, 2006
On the weekend of July 1-2, 2006 my folks and I drove down to Cockeysville, Maryland for a party marking the 50th wedding anniversary of my mother's (& my) cousins Bill & Sally-lyn Duff. We had a bang up feast, followed by reminiscences in the auditorium, followed by more feasting. I took a few photos, of which I present a few:
Bill & Sally-lyn's daughter-in-law Amparo (Jim's wife) and daughter Carolyn
Bill Duff (& my mother's) first cousin Jim Anderson, my first cousin Peggy Flannely and my mother, Robbie
My aunt Dorothy Foster Harrold recalls her childhood among Duffs.
Bill and Sally-lyn's son-in-law Bob (Carolyn's husband) delivers a poignant and amusing reminiscence.
Julian Crowell, Peggy Flanelly and Robbie Crowell react to Other Uncle Bob's account.
Bill and Sally-lyn admonish the guests for talking out of turn, chewing gum and general unruliness.
Dorothy, Jim Anderson, Doris Duff and Robbie Crowell get reacquain- ted...
fast!
Sally-lyn and Julian join the fun.
Bill & Sally-lyn's other daugher-in-law, Anne (Bob's wife), a charming hostess
Jim Duff supporting the bannister at Holley House, where the feast was held
Carolyn and her younger daugher, Julia
