Well, after a 1 year hiatus, I'm finally getting back in the saddle. The impetus? Some fresh pictures to share with the world. So, without further ado (assuming I can remember how this works), here are the photos:
In early April of this year I flew out to Illinois for my brother Jim's birthday. As it turned out, I was the only representative of the eastern branch of the family (or any other branch, for that matter), since my prenatal units were exposed to some type of deadly bacteria in upstate New York and (having recently read "Guns, Germs and Steel") decided to seek refuge once again in the healthful backwaters of Western Massachusetts. I flew out of our beautiful L.I. Macarthur airport, leaving a ye cracke of dawne. On the way up I snapped some memorable photos.

Inside the National Museum of Indiana things look different...

Waiting for a train on a very cold day in the Loop in Chicago
After returning from Chicago I hosted a very zesty Russian woman named Irina Yak Modelka

What's good for the goose is also good for the gander, as they say in Irzhevsk
At some point during this time I paid a lot of money to have my portrait made professionally.

Well, maybe not that much money...

Actually, pop & I got a twofer
