Days 2 & 3 - Jan 5&6, 2006:
After arriving in Fortaleza, in Ceara state on the N coast of Brazil, just a few miles south of the equator, about midnight on Jan 4, I quickly got integrated into the beach scene. Along with my Brazilian-Canadian friend Cristiany, her Israeli-German beau Uzi and her French-Canadian friend Laurence, we spent both days at Croco(dile) Beach on Playa do Futuro. Beautiful locale; BIG waves. I spent probably a total of 8 hours between the 2 days playing in the surf. Muito divertido! (Lots of fun!)
